However, we have a new search function that is one of the most effective new tools that FamilySearch has ever created: search records within an ancestor page in FamilySearch Family Tree. New Enhancements to Photos and Stories The Photos and Stories features in FamilySearch have undergone some new enhancements. FamilySearch's Search Has Been Improved! In an ongoing effort to make your search experiences easier and more productive, we have improved the search feature. It's Not a Race; It's a Journey: Five Ways Logging In Can Help You We have the opportunity to help "turn hearts" as we help others find and connect with their ancestors. Family Tree Includes Temple Opportunities List The Temple Opportunities page lists ancestors for whom temple ordinances are available and allows you to access their information in Family Tree. Learn more about changes to the Temple Opportunities list by clicking this link. Fresh from the Vault New collections are added each week to FamilySearch. Collections that are marked with a camera indicate collections for which digitized images are available. Collections marked with "Browse Images" have not been indexed yet but are available for browsing. These collections have helps added to assist you in narrowing your search to specific times, places, and record types. Click here to see the new collections. When you get to the page, click on the Last Updated link above the collection dates to see the newest collections. Center Director's News-August Last month, we discussed the wonderful opportunity that we have to better use Church equipment in family history centers to assist both family history and missionary efforts.
